To inform police and appropriate agencies in the event of a major accident.

Observe & Action

Arrange traffic devices to ensure defined delineation of safe work zone.

Manage or remove any obstruction on the road to facilitate smooth flow of traffic.

(Note: Cleaning and removal of construction debris is to be carried out by others).

To move any stalled small vehicles to the shoulder of the road as this might be detrimental to the flow of traffic.

Advise motorist obstructing traffic accordingly.

Ensuring that all temporary sign are in place and in good condition.

Be swift in getting to the location where there is an emergency incident.

Inform and advise highway authority on damage to road surface due to construction activities done by the Contractor or his representative.
